I like musicals ... les miserable should be my first one ... remembered watching with my second sis, have also watched chang and eng, miss saigon, mama mia, singing in the rain, the sound of music and phantom of the opera... I like phantom best .. think the songs are the best ... love it .. missed the one in singapore .. dun have $ when it first came to singapore .. caught it in USA during work and travel after graduation...

Recently, I watched broadway beng and cabaret ... both are nice :)



The set of broadway beng is very simple and no frills ... just a ah beng (sebastian tan) and his three scary chio-bus... The first partial Hokkien musical I have ever heard ... learnt quite a number of new Hokkien phrase Haha ... the atmosphere is a bit like ge tai , though i have not really been to one ....

SRT is a nice and cosy theatre ... although was sitting at the circle seats upstairs .. the view is good




A very witty musical ... which should be rated NC16 Haha ... It is amazing what you can do with 2 pillows, 1 bolster and an umbrella. :) Fei xiang voice is good ..


The next one will be Forbidden City in sept !!! .. Hope it will be nice to be up close and personal seating at the second row !!! The last time I was that near was when I was seated at the fifth row for singing in the rain... my frens and I got "splashed" by the water !!!

This room at marina square Kbox is probably one of the biggest room we have gotten for merely 4 pax ... how lucky .. we can practically lie down and sing all the way .. haha .. but the soundproofing not very good .. cos part of it, is a glass wall where we can view outside to the shopping mall. And our neighbour happened to have very loud singing ...
